During the Meeting the Members of the Committee scrutinized two Bill of the Resolutions (Reg. №4513) according to which it is recommended that Yu. I. Ekhanurov should be dismissed from the post of Minister on Defence of Ukraine.
During the discussion it was declared that the author of the first Bill., The Peoples Deputy, I. Rybakov points out on the number of violations of the current law within the system of Ministry on Defence: in particular illegal operations with military equipment and illegal formation of Military-Medical Administration of Ministry on Defence of Ukraine (contrary to the Resolutions of the President of Ukraine from 27.12.2005 №1862-25т/2005 and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine12.03.2005 №179) etc.
The authors of another Bill People´s Deputies V. Oysarenko and A. Kozhemiakin grounded the non-correspondence Yu. Ekhanurov to the occupied post by the numerous violations investigated during check of the General Control-Supervision Administration. The corresponding appellations were directed to the Prosecution General of Ukraine for the necessary reacting.
The Committee has herd the information of the Chairman of the Sub-Committee of Executive power V. Petrenko, Ministry on Defence of Ukraine, Yu. Ekhanurov and representatives of the General Control-Supervision Administration.
It was stressed that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine may realize its authority to dismiss the Minister on Defence from his post without the preferment of the President of Ukraine. The attention was also pointed at the fact that the Vice Prime Minister O. Turchynov and the Committee on National Security and Defence upholds the Bill of the Resolution on Dismissal of Ekhanurov Yu. I. from the Post of Minister on Defence of Ukraine
As a result of scrutiny the Committee has adopted the decision to recommend that the Parliament according to the item 12 of the firs part of the article 85 of the Constitution of Ukraine, item 3 of the second part of the article 18 of the Law "On Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine" adopts as a Basis the Resolution "On Dismissal of Ekhanurov Yu. I. from the Post of Minister on Defence of Ukraine
